‘Chinthakayala Ravi’ starring Venkatesh in the lead pitted against Anushka and Mamtha Mohandas is directed by Yogesh. Nallamalapu Srinivas(Bujji) produces the movie on Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner. The film is slated to be released on 2nd October.
Vishal – Shekhar of 'Om Shanti Om' fame has composed the music for this film. The latest buzz on the film is, popular music director Mani Sharma did the re-recording for this film. Further, there were seven songs in the film out of which only 6 were presented in the album. The additional song is voiced by one more popular music director MM Keeravani. The makers say that it is not included in the album because of its size that has exceeded the capacity of the compact disc.
The opera being orchestrated by two acclaimed songsters is sure to soothe the ears.

A house for Pavan’s ‘Puli’
‘Khushi’ is a super hit film made in the combination of Pavan Kalyan – SJ Surya. After a gap, the lauded duo comes together again for ‘Puli’. Produced by Singanamala Ramesh Babu, the regular shooting for the film is undergoing at a steady pace.

Prabhas’ ‘Billa’ in panache
Erstwhile ‘Billa’, a Tamil film starring Ajith, Nayantara and Ramya in the lead roles, directed by Vishnu Vardhan, became a blockbuster hit.
A remake of this film, starring Prabhas as the hero and Anushka as the heroine has been proposed to be made. In the direction of Meher Ramesh of ‘Kanthri’ fame, the movie will be produced on Gopi Krishna Movies banner.
Plan is on to launch it on 9th October on the eve of Vijaya Dasami.
Sources state that a major part of this film will be featured in the locales of Malaysia and Korea. Director Meher Ramesh is presently touring these places to single out the exquisite locales in these countries.
Further, as Anushka is selected to reinstate the role played by Nayantara in the original version, Priyamani or Bhavana might be opted to play the role of Ramya.

Sukumar awaits an arrival
Starring Allu Arjun and Anu Mehtha in the lead cast, ‘Dil’ Raju produced the most popular hit ‘Arya’ on Sri Venkateswara Creations.
The hit flick was directed by Sukumar, is a well known fact. Lately, Sukumar did not make any commercial success after this film. Consequently, he planned to make a sequel to ‘Arya’.
Allu Arjun dons the protagonist once again in this sequel for which Kajal and Shraddha Arya serves the love quotient for ‘Arya-II’. BVVSN Prasad and Aditya Babu are producing this film in an amalgamated effort.
The film which was launched a while back has not yet started the regular shooting. The main reason for this is said to be the cinematographer Rajasekhar, for whom Sukumar to waiting to start the shoot.

Allu Ramalingaiah Kala Peetam, founded in the memory of eminent comedy actor Padma Sri Allu Ramalingaiah. Every year on 1st October commemorating his birth anniversary, a film personality who rendered an exceptional slick work for industry, is adorned with the Allu Ramalingaiah National Award.

RGV’s Raktha Charitra on Rayalaseema factions
Ramgopal Varma’s latest presentation in Telugu is Raktha Charitra. The much-talked about venture was announced in Hyderabad on Sunday night.
‘One More Though’ and ‘Zed 3 Pictures’ are jointly producing the film. As mentioned earlier by one and all, the movie is based on the dreaded faction cult in Rayalaseema area of Andhra Pradesh.
New comers Dharma and Raksha are the directors, who also are the storywriters. Talking to the media after Jagapati Babu unveiled the film’s logo, Ramgopal Varma said that the film has the most realistic background of the factions in the region.
However, he didn’t accept he was inspired by the Anantapur district strongman and factionist Paritala Ravi, who was killed in rival attack.
Ramgopal Varma said: "We have seen umpteen numbers of films in this area of factions. But, I have always been trying to look at it from the realistic point of view. After a long time, I got the opportunity to peep into a suitable script. Dharma and Raksha, new comers from Rayalaseema with deep knowledge into the factions, came forward with an arresting script”.
H e added: “I hope my dream to make Raktha Charitra on the lines of my previous films Satya and Company will be fulfilled. Highlight is that all the characters in the film are absolutely fresh faces and I strictly don’t want any big hero. The audience should look at them as the characters themselves." Replying to a question, Varma said the film has a strong political background. He also shunned rumours that he met some of the undertrials or making plans to meet them.
Earlier, he participated in the Success Meet of the film Raksha, based on the subject black magic.

Ram Charan dancing with Mumaith
Hero Ram Charan is dancing with Mumaith Khan for a remix song for his new film. Rajamouli is directing the film. The unit is now in Chennai and is filming the remix song ‘Bangaru Kodipetta’ on Ram Charan and Mumath Khan.

Chintakayala Ravi release postponed to October 2nd
Victory Venkatesh, Anushka and Mamtha Mohan Das starrer Chintakalaya Ravi movie release has been postponed by one day. It was actually planned for October 1st release but now it is postponed to 2nd.
The reasons for this delay are not known. There is no problem with the delay because there is no other big movie which is releasing for this Dusserra festival season. So there is literally no competition for Chintakayala Ravi.
Chintakayala Ravi completes sensor work
Venkesth next film Chintakayala Ravi completed its sensor work today and passed out with a clean U certificate. The movie is releasing on 2nd October.

An item number by Hansika
Hansika Motwani who acted as heroine in Desamuduru and Kantri movies is now all set to do an item number in Prabhas next film. This yet to be named Prabhas film is being directed by Meher Ramesh and is being produced by Krishnam Raju on Gopi Krishna Movies banner.
Hansika is doing this item number on the request of director Meher Ramesh who directed her earlier film Kantri. She is going to do the role of Jayamalini in a re-mix version of “Naa paruvam…”
This Prabhas film is actually a remake of yester year telugu film Yugandhar and recent tamil film Billa. Prabhas plays the role of Yugandgar in the new film while Anushka will play the lead heroine role.

Surendar Reddy who was recognized as a good director with the films 'Athanokkade' and 'Athidi' is going to direct a new film starring Ravi Teja in the lead role. Sources had been informed that producer Venkat will make this film on RR Movie Makers banner.
The shooting of this film is about to start on 9th of this month, at Ramanaidu Studios. It is learnt that Ileana is set to play the ladylove for the lead Ravi Teja. Earlier, 'Khatarnak' was the movie that saw this pair share screen space.

Allu Ramalingaiah’s 86th Birth Anniversary
Padma Sri awardee for the best comedy only next to Relangi and an eminent character artist Late Sri Allu Ramalingaiah (1922-2004), is well known for his special mark of serving the humour quotient. Today, the 1st of October is the great artist's 86th Birth Anniversary.
Fondly called as Allu, he began his film career in 1953 with 'Puttillu'. In his fifty year journey of tinselville, he has acted an enormous number of over 1000 films. 'Jai' a year before his demise was his last film.
He had a special mark of comedy, with unique mannerisms, apt comedic timing and his own special nasal voice. This gave him a special place amongst his contemporary comedians like Relangi, Rajubabu, Padmanabham, Ramana Reddy. He is also recognized for his unique character roles that exhibited negative shades with artists like RaoGopal Rao, Nagabhushanam. He also played many memorable roles in films like 'Mayabazar', 'Missamma', 'Sankarabharanam' and 'Yamagola'.
He was awarded the prestigious Padma Sri for his outstanding contribution to Telugu Cinema for the year 1990. He was also felicitated with Raghupathy Venkaiah award for his contribution to Telugu Cinema for the year 2001. Nritya Kala Mandali awarded him the title 'Hasya Kala Prapoorna' for his contribution to Praja Natya Mandali before he ventured in to the film industry.
His family is very closely associated with the industry having a star producer and distributor Allu Arvind his son, megastar Chiranjeevi his son-in-law and his brothers Nagababu and Pawan Kalyan along with Allu Arjun, Ram Charan Teja, Allu Sirish who are his grandsons.
